There are numerous things from the animal kingdom that the general public still knows next to nothing about.
Be it the threat of the so-called 'murder hornets' or what happens when a goose gets really angry.
One thing that possibly didn't cross anyone's mind was what the inside of a kangaroo's pouch actually looked like.
Most of us probably presumed it was just a nice comfy and furry pocket for the baby roo to sit inside. How wrong we were.
A TikTok video from Alexandra Kalin shows that an actual kangaroo pouch looks like not much more than a hole into the interior of their body where the baby can sit.
The footage has since made its way on to Twitter, leaving people either confused or very troubled.

If you thought that was troubling enough, wait until you see what the baby roo looks like inside the pouch before it is fully formed...
Now, we can't possibly do justice in describing why a kangaroo's pouch is actually like so instead we recommend that you watch this video instead.

So, there you go, it's actually better than the roo has a place to stay that isn't just a furry pocket. You truly do learn something new every day.
