In the aftermath of the terror attacks that hit Brussels on Tuesday, one brave hero took to the streets of Croydon and asked a random woman to explain terrorism to him.
Since sending his tweet out on Wednesday morning, Matthew, who subsequently claimed it was a "wind up", has been inundated with replies and people quoting his post.
People wondered if he could explain the actions of white terrorist Anders Breivik
And other terror attacks that had absolutely nothing to do with him
Or the actions of the British government hundreds of years before he was born
What a world we could live in if we were all like Matthew
Other white men sought to distance themselves from the Croydon Crusader
Then "mealy mouthed reply" became a thing
Lots of people joined in
