Donald Trump has been having an eventful few days.

On Friday an Access Hollywood tape from 2005 was released, in which Donald Trump could be heard saying some rather unsavoury things about women, which made a lot of people very angry.

He gave an apology of sorts, soldiered through the weekend and participated in the second presidential debate with Hillary Clinton on Sunday.

However his campaign appears to be fraying around the edges.

According to Steven Law, a senior Republican member said they had descended into chaos and several key members left the party in protest of Trump’s comments to Billy Bush.

The Republican Party is caught in a theatre fire; people are just running to different exits as fast as they can.

But it's not just Donald's former supporters who have been getting off the Trump train.

A parody account for the Republican presidential candidate, @ArtHouseTrump tweeted the following on Saturday:

Process this: The account dedicated to making fun of Donald Trump can't find anything funny about him anymore.

People on Twitter came out in the hundreds to encourage ArtHouse Trump to stay.

DON’T STOP.

After all, we must find some humour in all of this...

...however, it appears the account owner couldn't stay away.

It returned with a tweet emphatically on the side of Hillary Clinton.
