A man said he “nearly had a heart attack” when he spotted what he thought was a person staring out at him from his washing machine.
Alex, who tweets under the handle @alxboardman, noticed the creepy-looking face staring at him through the machine window after he put a wash on.
But – luckily – there wasn’t a weird man lurking among his laundry. Infact, it was a pillow, bearing the face of music icon David Bowie – which Alex forgot he had washed.
He shared the story with his followers, who found the whole thing hilarious, with the tweet soon going viral.
He tweeted: “Forgot I’d washed the dog’s blanket and David Bowie cushion. Nearly just had a heart attack.”
