Lizzo hits back at weight trolls by branding herself 'the beauty standard'

Lizzo has put out a powerful video declaring herself 'the beauty standard' in a clap back to trolls who comment on her weight.

It comes after a personal trainer put out a scathing rant questioning why obesity is 'now promoted as healthy'.

"I’m sorry that my perfect face and rockin body offends you… I can’t help that I’m God’s favourite", she captioned the video, rocking a super casual look.

"I'm gorgeous...I am the beauty standard", she tells fans.
