Couple mortified as clinic receptionist pops gender reveal balloon

A couple was left red-faced after their baby's gender was accidentally revealed by a receptionist who popped the balloon while handing it over.

The pair had visited Ultrascan in Dublin, Ireland, where they were handed the surprise balloon ready for a gender reveal party they were hosting.

Lashings of pink confetti exploded from under the receptionist's arm, as everyone in the room's jaw dropped in shock as it was revealed they were having a girl.

Awkward.
