Fans left shocked as Liam Payne 'doesn't even sound English'

Liam Payne has left fans confused by his 'new' accent, as he gave his thoughts on the Will Smith Oscars slap situation during an interview.

The Wolverhampton-born singer is based between the UK and USA, but appeared to have an Italian-Dutch-Welsh twang to his voice as he explained whatever Will did, 'he had the right to do.'

One fan tweeted: ‘Watching GMB and what the hell has happened to Liam Payne’s accent?! He has an American twang but at times he sounds like he isn’t even English!’
