Ben Shephard actually said 'it's amazing how quick 'tings turn' on GMB

GMB's Ben Shephard left viewers confused when he switched accents halfway through a report on Boris Johnson, citing how quick 'tings' change in politics.

The hard 'T' is common in Jamaican accents, and co-presenter Susanna Reid looked baffled trying to work out if he'd done it on purpose.

'Man said ‘tings’ like a Jamaican, mans on that Posh Patois,' one viewer tweeted, while another chimed in: 'Did he have some rice and peas for brekkie or what?'
