Starmer jokes the Tories have gone from 'clapping nurses to sacking nurses'

Keir Starmer jibed that the Tories have gone from "clapping the nurses to sacking the nurses" during today's firing PMQs session (11 January).

It comes as Rishi Sunak admitted he uses the NHS for GP appointments, after weeks of speculation over whether he goes private.

"It's that simple", Starmer said as Sunak shook his head. "To add insult to injury, they're the cause of the crisis... his own report says this is not a Covid problem."
