Mariah Carey still uses a teleprompter for the 'All I Want For Christmas' lyrics

It turns out that more than 20 years after it was released, Mariah Carey still requires a teleprompter for her hit song 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'.

The singer was spotted at the Macy's Day Parade this year giving a performance, as the lyrics flashed up on a giant screen in front of the stage, almost as if she were doing karaoke.

However, someone in the comments pointed out that it can be standard for live recordings in case the artist's in-ear fails.
