BBC unknowingly asking former Liverpool goalie if he remembers 1967 match resurfaces

A viral clip of a BBC reporter unknowingly asking a former Liverpool goalkeeper if he remembers a 1967 match is resurfacing amid the World Cup coverage.

The journalist stopped Tommy Lawrence, who died in 2018, ahead of an important game, as he asked if he remembered the previous derby clash.

"I do. I played in it!" he responded. "It was a great game...Alan Ball scored the winner."

Lawrence played for Liverpool between 1957 and 1971.
