Gun salute in tribute to the Queen triggers car alarms

A 96-round salute has been paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth II as the country falls quiet in mourning - but one thing that wasn't quiet, was the car alarms that got triggered by it.

The shots were shown by the BBC taking place all around the country, and the silence in Plymouth was seemingly disturbed by an alarm in the distance.

Nonetheless, the uniformed men responsible for making sure it went off without a hitch nailed their roles, in a fitting tribute to the monarch.
